SHOSHONE RIVER KAYAKING

($90/Short Trip - Inflatable Kayaks)

Join us for some whitewater action! Hop in a solo or tandem inflatable kayak for a guided paddle down a 4.5-mile section of the Shoshone River with Class II whitewater and indescribably great scenery. Our guides provide safety and kayak instruction prior to and throughout the trip. This is a great option for people who want a bit more adventure than a standard raft trip. These trips are run exclusively as kayak tours, rather than along with a rafting trip, so we can be more flexible and take time to practice surfing waves or run a rapid a second time. All transportation and gear (including wetsuits and booties) are provided on this specialty trip.

SHOSHONE RIVER KAYAKING

($130/Long Trip - Inflatable Kayaks)

Want a little more time on the river? So do we! This trip is a 6-mile extension of our signature inflatable kayak tour. Similar to the short trip, this outing is run exclusively as a kayak tour on a 12-mile section of the Shoshone River. Together we’ll take on some Class II+ whitewater and enjoy the unrivaled scenery. Our guides provide safety and kayak instruction prior to and throughout the trip. This trip is especially great at higher flows. All transportation and gear (including wetsuits and booties) are provided.

SOUTH FORK SCENIC FLOAT

($130/Adults, $120/Children 4-13)

Enjoy the quiet beauty of the South Fork of the Shoshone River by raft or inflatable kayak. These trips are always special and are best suited for groups who are on their own timeline. We can tailor the trip around water levels and access points so that we have optimal conditions on this seldom-run river. It's not uncommon to float past herds of elk, raptors, moose and beavers.

Float times vary but are usually around two hours on the water and 4.5 hours round trip.  Gradient is the only commercial float company on this river, so it's not very crowded! All transportation, gear and a river-side lunch are provided.
